Does the Private Edition need an internet connection?
Only for initial activation and model download. After setup, all inference and document processing runs entirely offline on your Mac.
How is this different from the cloud VeriRFP?
The cloud edition runs in your browser with server-side AI. The Private Edition installs as a native Mac app with on-device AI — your data never leaves your machine. It's designed for teams with strict data residency requirements.
Can I use the Private Edition on multiple Macs?
Each license activates on one device at a time. To move to a new Mac, deactivate the old device from Settings, then activate on the new one. Additional device licenses are $40/month each.
What powers the Private Edition?
Private Edition uses a private on-device AI stack optimized for local drafting and evidence retrieval on Apple Silicon. We do not publish the underlying component list on the marketing site.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Your license remains active through the current billing period plus a 3-day grace period. After grace expires, the app requires an active license to launch. Your locally stored data — evidence, drafts, settings — is preserved on disk; reactivating with a new license restores access immediately.
Is the .dmg signed and notarized?
Yes. The installer is signed with an Apple Developer ID certificate and notarized through Apple's notary service. macOS Gatekeeper will verify it on first launch.
